FDS North aids Well Polish growth
Within the first three years of trading our domestic cleaning company Well Polished experienced rapid growth, to the point where the business was receiving more and more enquires from outside of the area it operated. Business Link even presented Well Polished with an award in recognition of its rapid growth.
It was not feasible to take on clients outside of our initial territory, as we did not have the resources to do so. We realised that we needed to expand the business soon in order to keep up with consumer demand and we were advised by Business Link to consider franchising the business.
We found Franchise Development Services (FDS) online and were impressed by what we read. We contacted other companies who had sought help from FDS and they were delighted with the service they had received.
We were put in touch with FDS North Franchise Consultant Tony Urwin back in 2007 and we cannot praise him enough! We have a very comfortable working relationship with Tony. Not only is he extremely professional and knowledgeable, he and his team at FDS North always deliver on time and have given us some fantastic ideas on how we can improve the business and generate lead flow.
We intend to continue using FDS to help us promote our recruitment drive both in the UK and internationally. I would definitely recommend FDS, its publication The Franchise Magazine and its website TFM online to other franchisors because by advertising in these, in our first year alone we exceeded our franchise owner recruitment target of five franchises by launching nine. The news items posted on both have generated great interest with potential franchise owners.
Well Polished is looking to recruit energetic and enthusiastic individuals who possess good people and interpersonal skills. While a background in sales and marketing would be beneficial it is not essential as full training is provided.
